About

Our Mission

Returning decision-making power to the residents of Stoneclough, Prestolee, Ringley, and Kearsley.

Mission Statement

Stoneclough Community Hub exists to strengthen local democracy and community enterprise by giving residents a formal, structured voice in decisions that affect our villages. We collect community intelligence, support local enterprise, protect our environment, and connect residents with local businesses and civic opportunities.

Our Vision

A community where residents shape their own future. Where local businesses thrive, volunteers are valued, young people have opportunities, and every family can afford to stay in the village they call home.

Six Pillars of Action

Community Voice

Residents shape decisions through democratic participation, voting, and direct engagement with local governance.

Local Economy

Supporting local businesses, trades, and enterprise to build economic resilience within our villages.

Environmental Protection

Safeguarding green spaces, rivers, and natural heritage for current and future generations.

Housing Advocacy

Protecting family homes, opposing inappropriate HMO conversions, and prioritising affordable housing.

Volunteer Support

Recognising and resourcing the volunteers who maintain our streets, parks, and community spaces.

Youth Opportunity

Creating meaningful activities, safe spaces, and skills development for young people.
