Section 1
Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Stoneclough Community Hub (“we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your access to and use of the platform.
You must be aged 13 or over to create an account. If you are under 18, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian. By using this service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Membership Tiers

Section 3
Payments and Subscriptions
- Business Basic is billed monthly at £10.00; Business Premium at £25.00
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled via your account dashboard
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card details
Section 4
14-Day Cooling-Off Right (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
If you are a consumer (not purchasing for business purposes), you have the right to cancel any subscription within 14 days of first subscribing without giving a reason. To cancel, email admin@stoneclough.uk stating “I wish to cancel my subscription” with your account email. Refunds are issued within 14 calendar days.
Section 5
Payment Services Disclosure
Payments are processed by Stripe Inc. Stoneclough Community Hub does not store card details. Stripe is authorised as a payment institution by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Stoneclough Community Hub is not itself FCA authorised and does not provide regulated financial services.
Section 6
Online Safety Act 2023
This platform is a Category 2A service under the Online Safety Act 2023. We have a duty of care to users to protect them from illegal content. Report harmful content to admin@stoneclough.uk or use the in-platform report function. We aim to respond to content reports within 24 hours.
Section 7
Acceptable Use
- Provide accurate and truthful information at all times
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Report genuine local issues in good faith
- Not submit false, misleading, or defamatory content
- Not use the Service for commercial spam or unsolicited advertising
- Not attempt to access accounts or data belonging to others
- Comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations
Section 8
Prohibited Content
You must not post, upload, or share content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or that promotes discrimination. We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Section 9
Business Directory
By listing a business, you warrant that all information is accurate and up-to-date. You are responsible for ensuring listings comply with ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) guidelines. Prices shown must be inclusive of VAT where applicable (Consumer Rights Act 2015).
By submitting a listing, you confirm this information is accurate and complies with UK advertising standards.
Section 10
Platform Fees
- Venue bookings: 2% platform fee applied automatically via Stripe Connect
- Fundraiser donations: 2% platform fee applied automatically via Stripe Connect
- Stripe payment processing fees apply separately to all transactions
Section 11
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stoneclough Community Hub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Section 12
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform at least 30 days before changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
